Africa, the continent where life is rumoured to have begun on earth, home to creatures of legends, magic, and myth, land of the ancient gods and filled with most of the earth's riches resources. Africa is full of its diverse beings, culture, and treasures. Every landmark is to be witnessed, every spot holds a tale to tell and to be watched with amazement. 
 
Places to visit in Africa can never be exhausted, from the wonder of the pyramids in Egypt down to the safari zones and great mountains of Ethiopia and South Africa.

Botswana is where to go in Africa for an up-close wildlife experience without the distraction of a crowd in an extremely stunning landscape with the Okavango Delta. 

Head to Egypt, the birthplace of western civilization to witness the glory of the pyramids and sphinx, take a cruise up the River Nile and tour the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities exhibiting artifacts recovered from Tutankhamen's tomb, a very rich discovery of historians and cultural archaeologists.

Visit Morroco, a country with a history of almost ten thousand years, the great cities Marrakesh, Rabat, Fez offer a look into the vast variety of ancient traditions. A must-see is the Djemaa el Fna - the famous spice market, the biggest square in Africa and the largest market in Morroco. The secret is to go in the evenings when all the dancers, magicians and storytellers are out to perform, a truly wonderful place to have on your bucket list. 

Namibia where you can climb one of the highest sand domes in the world or take a hot air balloon ride over this dramatic scenery. This country is also known for its tourist activities such as the Living Desert Tour, Ghost Town Tour and the overflight of the Skeleton Coast.

Nigeria offers wonderful sites to be toured. The Obudu Cattle Ranch in Calabar has one of the longest cable car rides in the world, nighttime bonfires and breathtaking hiking experiences. The Yankari Games Reserve has over 50 species of wildlife. The beautiful Idanre Hills in Ondo which exhibits the amazing architectural design of nature in the arrangement of the hills, the green vegetation surrounding the hills and the crystal clear Arun River at the top of the hill, it is said that visiting this hills brings one in communion with nature. 

Kenya and Tanzania are often the best countries to visit in Africa, because this is one of the few places where the Great migration can be witnessed, a movement of over 2million wild beasts, the black and white zebra and the pink gazelles from the Masa Mara in Kenya to the Serengeti in Tanzania and back again. These two countries are home to some of the most extensive wildlife population in entire Africa, it is very common to see over 50 elephants in a herd, or the lions, rhinos, cape buffalos and leopards. Tanzania is also home to the famous Mount Kilimanjaro one of the greatest hiking destinations in the entire world. 

Uganda is one of only three countries in the world where one can walk to see mountain gorillas in the wild. This experience in Uganda is that of a rare kind as there are only 1000 mountain gorillas left in the world. The rain forests are also wonderful sites to be explored, it almost always rains and there's never a bad time to go.

South Africa, home to the table mountain, shark cages, safari zones. Experience the flavour of Durban, an enclave of Indian culture in Africa that rests right on the Indian Ocean. Almost anytime of the year is great for game viewing, and wildlife animals can be seen easily seen up-close and in a limited time than any other destinations.

Visit the Zambia and Zimbabwe to see the largest waterfalls in the world, the amazing Victoria Falls. Also, the water-rafting down the Zambezi river filled with crocodiles and hippopotamuses is a highly recommended experience. Zambia has a plus as it focuses on exciting walking safaris in national parks like South Luangwa and the Lower Zambezi.
